This bill tightens state employee drug coverage by using an approved list of medicines and delaying coverage of new drugs until the state adds them. State agencies will also pay health insurance costs for vacant jobs, which may push faster hiring or budget cuts elsewhere. It removes special hiring and contracting programs for women and minority groups, while shifting support to small Florida and veteran-owned businesses. It also keeps a $3 traffic-ticket fee for police radio systems.
