This measure would sharply limit speed and red-light cameras in Arizona. New camera systems could not be started, and places that already have contracts by the end of 2026 would have to ask local voters for approval at the next general election. If voters say no, the cameras must stop within 90 days. If voters say yes, they can stay for 10 years at a time. This shifts traffic enforcement toward police officers and gives residents more control over automated ticketing.
