This bill would let VA doctors and other VA health workers talk openly with veterans about joining state-approved medical marijuana programs and sign the needed forms. In states where these programs are legal veterans could get guidance from their regular VA providers instead of going outside the VA system. This could improve access to care, reduce barriers, and help veterans make more informed treatment choices.
