About the Organization

AAPI Equity Alliance (formerly the Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council, A3PCON) is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit coalition founded in 1976 that advocates for the rights, health, safety and civic participation of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. The organization coordinates policy advocacy, capacity building, community organizing and civic engagement across dozens of member agencies to advance racial and health equity, language access, immigrant and worker protections, anti‑hate initiatives, and culturally responsive services in Los Angeles County and beyond.

Policy Goals

Civic engagement and voter outreach; anti‑hate and civil rights protections; immigrant and refugee services; language access and culturally responsive public health and mental health services; education and youth support; economic and budget equity for AAPI communities; community capacity building and nonprofit support

Funding

Philanthropic and foundation grants, public (government) grant funding and contracts, individual donations, and support from member organizations
