AAUW Florida is the Florida state affiliate of the American Association of University Women, a national organization founded in 1881 to advance equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy. It is a nonpartisan, fact-based membership organization with branches across Florida.
Gender equity, higher education access, economic security for women, pay equity, STEM education for girls, voter education, and public policies affecting women, girls, and families. It also advocates on issues such as reproductive health and workplace fairness.
Primarily member dues, donations, program support, and contributions through affiliated branches and supporters.
