The Action Center on Race and the Economy (ACRE) is a Chicago-based advocacy organization that campaigns for racial, economic, and environmental justice by challenging corporate and financial power, especially where it harms Black, Brown, and working-class communities.
ACRE typically pursues progressive policies related to racial and economic justice, financial regulation and accountability, anti-privatization, labor and worker rights, housing justice, policing and public safety reform, and public investment in communities of color.
