The Adjutants General Association of the United States (AGAUS) is a professional membership association of the state and territorial Adjutants General that promotes National Guard readiness, interstate cooperation, and unified advocacy on matters affecting the Guard’s federal and state missions.
State and federal National Guard funding and equipping, personnel and benefits policy, training and readiness, homeland security and disaster response coordination, federal-state force posture and intergovernmental relations.
Primarily funded by member dues and support from member state National Guard offices, supplemented by conference fees, sponsorships, and occasional grants.
