The Agricultural Council of Arkansas is a member-driven, non-profit organization established in 1939 to represent and advocate for Arkansas’s row crop agriculture industry. Its membership includes farmers, landowners, and agricultural-related businesses. The organization works to promote agriculture’s economic importance, shape public policy at the state and federal levels, and support the sustainability and growth of rural communities.
Agricultural and rural economic policy, including farm support programs, crop protection, land stewardship, water and soil conservation, workers’ compensation, and state and federal legislation affecting row crop producers and agribusiness interests.
