The Alabama Agribusiness Council is a statewide membership organization founded in 1989 that serves as the collective voice for Alabama’s agriculture and forestry industries. It represents producers, suppliers, processors, lenders, educators, trade associations, and agribusiness companies, working to advocate for and enhance the business of agriculture across the state.
The Council supports state and national legislation affecting agriculture and forestry, promotes agribusiness development, builds coalitions within the agricultural community, and advocates on regulatory, economic, and trade issues impacting Alabama agribusiness.
Membership dues from individuals, businesses, and trade associations, along with program service revenue and events.
