The Alliance for Automotive Innovation is the unified trade association for the U.S. automotive industry, representing vehicle manufacturers and related technology and supply-chain companies. Its mission is to advance cleaner, safer, and smarter personal transportation and to engage policymakers on issues affecting the auto sector.
Automotive regulatory and legislative policy, including vehicle safety, emissions and environmental standards, electric vehicles, autonomous and connected vehicles, mobility innovation, manufacturing, supply chain, and technology policy.
Primarily funded by member dues and association sponsorships from automotive manufacturers and industry partners.
Member companies include major automakers and automotive technology firms; prominent leadership includes President and CEO John Bozzella. The organization was formed from the merger of the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and Global Automakers.
