Alliance for Patient Access (AfPA) is a national organization of policy-minded clinicians and patient advocates focused on advancing patient-centered health care and improving timely access to treatment.
Health care access policy, especially opposition to restrictive utilization management practices such as prior authorization, step therapy, non-medical switching, restrictive formularies, and policies that delay or deny treatment; it also engages on patient cost and patient choice issues at the federal, state, regulatory, and health plan levels.
Supported through associate member dues, sponsorships, grants, and gifts.
