Description: The American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) is the national professional society representing physician associates/physician assistants in the United States. Founded in 1968, AAPA advocates for the PA profession, provides continuing education and professional resources, and works to advance patient-centered, team-based care while promoting recognition and career development for PAs.
