American Beverage Licensees (ABL) is a national trade association representing independent retail beverage alcohol license holders, including bars, taverns, restaurants, casinos, and package stores. It advocates for the retail tier of the beverage alcohol industry before Congress and regulators and promotes the three-tier system and responsible alcohol sales.
Alcohol beverage regulation, retail licensing, state alcohol law, support for states’ rights and the three-tier system, opposition to one-size-fits-all federal alcohol mandates, regulatory and legislative issues affecting beverage retailers, and industry responsibility initiatives.
Primarily funded by membership dues from state affiliate associations and retail beverage alcohol license holders, with support from fellow industry organizations.
