The American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) is a professional membership organization dedicated to improving mathematics education in two-year colleges. Its mission is to promote excellence in mathematics teaching and learning, support professional development for faculty, and advocate for policies that strengthen student success in mathematics at community and technical colleges.
AMATYC typically supports legislative policies related to higher education funding, community college support, mathematics and STEM education, developmental education reform, workforce development, faculty professional development, student access and equity, and evidence-based instructional practices.
