The American Wire Producers Association is a North American trade association for ferrous wire and wire products producers. It represents a large share of U.S. carbon, alloy, and stainless steel wire and wire products production and advocates for the industry on trade, regulatory, and market-access issues.
Trade policy, tariffs, international trade agreements, market access, manufacturing competitiveness, and federal regulatory and environmental/safety compliance issues affecting the wire industry.
Primarily member dues and sponsorship/support from member companies and industry suppliers.
Member companies across the wire and wire products industry; industry leaders serving on AWPA committees and government relations groups. Publicly highlighted industry supporters include companies such as Nucor and other wire producers and suppliers.
