Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is a national conservative and libertarian grassroots advocacy organization founded in 2004. Its stated mission is to empower Americans to pursue their version of the American Dream by advancing policies that promote limited government, free markets, and individual liberty. AFP operates state chapters across the country and engages in public education, grassroots organizing, and issue advocacy at the federal and state levels.
