The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA) is the statewide trade association representing Arizona hospitals, health systems and healthcare partners. AzHHA provides advocacy, education, emergency preparedness coordination and workforce development to strengthen care delivery, improve population health outcomes and protect hospital financial stability across urban and rural Arizona.
State-level hospital and health system priorities including Medicaid/AHCCCS policy and financing, provider reimbursement and payment reform, health plan accountability, workforce development and training, rural and critical access hospital support, emergency preparedness and public health response, maternal and behavioral health initiatives, regulatory relief and value-based care transformation.
Primarily funded by membership dues from hospitals and health systems, event and conference revenue, sponsorships and program fees; affiliated foundation grants and voluntary contributions support charitable and educational activities; a separate AzHHA PAC is funded by voluntary political contributions.
AzHHA Foundation (501(c)(3)), AzHHA PAC, and member hospitals/health systems including major Arizona providers such as Banner Health, Dignity Health, HonorHealth, Abrazo Health, Carondelet and Tucson Medical Center.
