About the Organization

Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote) is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that mobilizes, educates, and empowers Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities to participate in elections and civic life; it runs national field and communications programs, provides translated voter materials, supports state and local partner organizations, and advocates for inclusion and equity in the democratic process.

Policy Goals

Voting rights and access (registration, turnout, ballot protection), language access at the ballot box, civic engagement and leadership development for AAPI communities, anti-hate and community safety initiatives, and policy advocacy on issues that affect AAPI representation and equity.

Funding

Primarily funded by philanthropic foundations and individual donations, supplemented by grants from civic engagement funds and program-specific grants or contracts.
