The Asian Pacific Islanders Civic Action Network (APIs CAN) is a Massachusetts-based coalition of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community organizations that builds political power and advances a shared progressive policy agenda to promote racial, economic, and language equity, expand civic participation and voting access, respond to anti‑AAPI hate, and improve data equity and services for immigrant and working‑class AAPI communities.
Immigration and immigrant justice, housing stability and tenant protections, voting rights and civic engagement, language access and civil rights, anti‑Asian hate prevention and public safety, data equity and community research, economic and workforce equity for AAPI communities.
Primarily funded through foundation and philanthropic grants, donations and fundraising, and financial or in‑kind support from member organizations and partner groups.
Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC), Chinese Progressive Association, VietAID, Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW), Asian CDC and a statewide network of Massachusetts AAPI community organizations and grassroots partners.
