The Association for the Improvement of American Infrastructure (AIAI) is a national nonprofit organization formed in the District of Columbia to advance the use of public-private partnerships (P3s) in U.S. infrastructure development. Founded in 2012, AIAI works to shape policy, educate civic leaders, and advocate for legislative and regulatory frameworks that support innovative project delivery, private investment, and long-term infrastructure modernization across transportation, energy, education, healthcare, and public facilities.
Infrastructure finance and delivery policy, promotion of public-private partnerships (P3s), transportation and social infrastructure investment, economic development, project delivery reform, risk transfer and lifecycle cost management, and federal and state legislation supporting private sector participation in public infrastructure projects.
Membership dues and support from corporate members in the construction, development, infrastructure investment, and project management industries.
Member companies include leading national and international construction firms, infrastructure developers, and investment entities; governed by a board of industry executives and infrastructure policy leaders.
