The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) is a national professional association that represents public health laboratories and works to strengthen laboratory systems in the United States and globally. Its mission is to promote the value and contributions of public health laboratories and improve public health laboratory systems and practices.

Primarily membership dues, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements, including federal public health funding.
