About the Organization

The Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, commonly known as the Auto Alliance, was a trade association representing major automobile manufacturers operating in the United States. The organization advocated on behalf of its member companies on issues related to vehicle safety, environmental regulation, trade, and innovation in the automotive industry. In 2020, it merged with the Association of Global Automakers to form the Alliance for Automotive Innovation.
