About the Organization

The Baylor University Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty is a research and action center housed within Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Founded in 2009 as the Texas Hunger Initiative and launched as the Collaborative in 2019, it works to cultivate scalable solutions to end hunger through research, public service, innovation, and strategic partnerships. The organization advances food security domestically and globally by testing and evaluating innovative models, supporting policy engagement, and building multi-sector collaborations to expand access to nutritious meals.
