Bike Durham is a Durham, North Carolina–based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting safe, affordable, and sustainable transportation. Through advocacy, education, and community events, the organization works to empower residents to walk, bike, and use public transit more often, with a focus on equitable access to transportation infrastructure.
Investment in bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, protected bike lanes, connected sidewalks, public transit access and funding, safe routes to school programs, Vision Zero and traffic safety initiatives, and local and state transportation planning and policy reforms.
