Boat Owners Association of the United States (BoatUS) is a national membership organization for recreational boat owners that provides boating services, safety resources, insurance, towing, and advocacy. It describes its mission as making boating safer, more affordable, and more accessible while representing boaters’ interests in government.
Recreational boating policy, boating safety, boating access, marine insurance and towing issues, boater rights, fuel policy, Coast Guard funding, navigation aids, small harbor funding, and opposition to taxes, fees, and regulations that disproportionately affect boat owners.
Primarily membership dues and revenue from affiliated boating services and products, including insurance, towing, financing, and partnerships.
