Borderlands Resource Initiative is a Phoenix, Arizona–based immigrant rights organization that works to defend the dignity, safety, and legal rights of migrants and asylum seekers. The organization provides community-based support through rapid response networks, immigration court and ICE accompaniment, Know Your Rights education, and legal assistance clinics, while building coalitions to advocate for humane immigration policies rooted in justice and family unity.
Immigration reform, asylum protections, due process rights in immigration court, limits on immigration enforcement and detention practices, community-based alternatives to deportation, and local and federal policies that protect migrant families and promote immigrant rights.
Primarily funded through individual donations, foundation grants, and community fundraising.
