California Citrus Mutual is a nonprofit trade association founded in 1977 to represent and advocate for California’s citrus growers. Headquartered in Exeter, California, the organization works to protect and enhance the viability and sustainability of the state’s citrus industry by serving as the primary voice for growers before state and federal policymakers.
Agricultural and regulatory policies affecting citrus growers, including water supply and water quality regulation, labor and workforce policy, pest and disease prevention such as Huanglongbing (HLB) response, trade and marketing, environmental regulation, and state and federal agricultural funding programs.
Primarily funded through membership dues from citrus growers and associate members, along with industry program revenue.
Works closely with California citrus growers, the California Department of Food and Agriculture, USDA, University of California agriculture programs, and industry partners; led by President and CEO Casey Creamer.
