About the Organization

The California Natural Resources Agency is a state government agency responsible for managing and conserving California’s natural, cultural, and historic resources. Its mission is to protect the state’s biodiversity, expand outdoor recreation, combat climate change, and steward public lands, water, and wildlife for present and future generations.
