About the Organization

The Center for American Entrepreneurship (CAE) is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) research, policy, and advocacy organization founded in 2017 that works with federal, state, and local policymakers to promote a policy environment supportive of new business formation, survival, and growth. The organization conducts original research, convenes entrepreneur roundtables nationwide, and advances policy proposals aimed at strengthening innovation, startup activity, and economic opportunity.

Policy Goals

Entrepreneurship and small business policy, innovation and technology commercialization, access to startup capital, talent and workforce development, immigration reform for high-skilled workers, tax policy, and regulatory reform affecting startups and emerging growth companies.

Funding

Primarily funded through charitable contributions and grants.

Affiliates

Founded by John R. Dearie; collaborates with policymakers, startup accelerators such as gener8tor, and members of its Corporate Advisory Council.
