The Center for Good Food Purchasing is a Berkeley, California–based nonprofit organization founded in 2015 that advances a transparent and equitable food system by leveraging the purchasing power of public institutions. It manages and promotes the Good Food Purchasing Program, which helps schools, hospitals, and other large institutions adopt values-based procurement standards focused on local economies, environmental sustainability, valued workforce, animal welfare, and nutrition.
