Clark Conservation District is a locally governed conservation district serving Clark County, Washington. Established in 1942, it works with residents, landowners, and partners to conserve and manage water, soils, forests, and habitat through education, voluntary practices, technical assistance, and small grants and cost-share programs.
Local natural resource conservation and stewardship, voluntary conservation programs and cost-share incentives, watershed and stormwater management, water quality and septic system support, habitat and stream restoration, forest health and wildfire risk reduction, soil health, conservation outreach and education, and support for state and local conservation funding and programs.
Primarily grant-funded: state grants (including from the Washington State Conservation Commission), federal and local grants, private foundation grants, program revenues and small local donations.
