The Colorado Bankers Association (CBA) is a non-profit trade association, founded in 1892, that represents Colorado’s commercial, community, and regional banks. CBA’s stated mission is to strengthen and advance the state’s banking industry through advocacy, education, professional development, and member services that support banks, their customers, and local economic growth.
Advocacy on state and federal banking regulation and oversight; regulatory relief and compliance issues for community and regional banks; consumer banking and deposit policy; lending policy including commercial, mortgage, SBA and small‑business lending; payments and fintech policy; tax and economic policies affecting financial institutions; cybersecurity, privacy and compliance issues; workforce development and financial education initiatives.
Primarily funded by membership dues from Colorado banks, fees for events and training, sponsorships and service-provider/associate member partnerships.
Member banks and their executives across Colorado, national trade groups such as the American Bankers Association, and a network of associate service providers, law firms and professional services firms that partner with or sponsor CBA programs.
