The CRE Finance Council (CREFC) is a nonprofit trade association representing the commercial real estate finance industry. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in New York with offices in Washington, D.C., it serves lenders, investors, servicers, rating agencies, and other market participants. CREFC promotes liquidity, transparency, and efficiency in commercial real estate finance markets through legislative and regulatory advocacy, development of industry standards and best practices, research, education, and major industry conferences.
