Community Catalyst is a national non-profit consumer health advocacy organization founded in 1998 that works to build consumer and community leadership to transform the American health system. Its mission is to ensure quality, affordable health care for all and to advance health equity by strengthening the capacity of state and local consumer advocacy organizations.
Community Catalyst advocates for policies that expand access to affordable health coverage, strengthen Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act, lower prescription drug costs, improve health system accountability, advance health equity, and protect patients and consumers from discriminatory or harmful health care practices.
