About the Organization

The Consortium for Mathematics and its Applications (COMAP) is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to improving mathematics education for students and teachers through real-world problem solving and mathematical modeling. Founded in 1980, COMAP develops curriculum materials, conducts teacher training, and sponsors international mathematics competitions to promote applied mathematics at the secondary and collegiate levels.
