Covenant House International is a large nonprofit federation that provides emergency shelter, housing, health care, and comprehensive support services to youth experiencing homelessness and survivors of human trafficking across North and Central America. Its mission is to offer unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support to help young people achieve safety, stability, and long-term independence.
Advocates for policies addressing youth homelessness and housing (including shelter funding, housing-first approaches, and eviction prevention), anti-human trafficking and victim services, access to health and behavioral health care for youth, education and workforce development supports, and public funding for youth-focused social services and prevention programs.
Mixed philanthropic funding model led by individual donors and major foundations, supplemented by corporate partnerships, fundraising events, and government grants or contracts.
