The Data Center Coalition (DCC) is a membership trade association that represents leading data center owners, operators, and large corporate users. DCC’s stated mission is to advocate for public policies, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach that support growth of the data center sector while promoting access to clean and reliable power, workforce development, and pragmatic siting and permitting approaches.
Advocacy for competitive tax and business policies, access to clean and reliable energy and transmission capacity, utility rate and demand-response design favorable to large loads, workforce development and training for data center construction and operations, and pragmatic siting, land use, and permitting/zoning policies.
Primarily funded by membership dues and sponsorships from data center owners, operators, and large corporate end users.
Membership and partner companies include major data center owners and cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (Amazon), Google, Microsoft, Equinix, and Meta, as well as other industry stakeholders and contractors.
