Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1920 that provides free assistance to disabled veterans, their families, and survivors. DAV helps veterans access VA benefits and healthcare, operates medical transportation and employment/transition programs, conducts advocacy on Capitol Hill, and supports rehabilitation and reintegration to improve quality of life for injured and ill veterans.
