Description: The Florida Recreation and Park Association (FRPA) is a non‑profit professional association that advocates for and supports parks, recreation and leisure services across Florida. Founded in 1942 and incorporated in 1983, FRPA provides education, professional development, networking, certification, and legislative representation to public and private parks and recreation professionals, agencies, vendors, students and citizen advocates with a mission to establish parks and recreation as cornerstones of health, economic development, environmental stewardship and community well‑being.
