Florida Rising is a statewide grassroots advocacy organization that works to build political power among Black, Latino, immigrant, and other historically marginalized communities in Florida. Formerly known as New Florida Majority, it focuses on civic engagement, voter mobilization, and issue advocacy to advance racial, economic, and environmental justice.
Voting rights and election reform, criminal justice reform, economic justice, healthcare access, immigrant rights, climate and environmental justice, and policies aimed at expanding civic participation and equity in Florida.
Primarily funded through individual donations and grants from progressive foundations and philanthropic organizations.
