Description: The Franciscan Action Network is a Washington, D.C.–based faith-rooted advocacy organization that mobilizes Catholics and others inspired by Franciscan values to advance social justice, care for creation, nonviolence, and humane immigration and economic policies through public education, grassroots organizing, and engagement with policymakers. Type: Non-profit (faith-based advocacy organization) Policies: Environmental stewardship and climate action; humane immigration and refugee policy; peacemaking and anti-war advocacy; economic and social justice for low-income communities; racial equity and civil rights; access to healthcare and compassionate public welfare policies.
