GO2 for Lung Cancer is a patient-led nonprofit advocacy and support organization dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for people at risk for, diagnosed with, and living with lung cancer. Its work includes patient support, education, research funding, and public policy advocacy.
Lung cancer research funding, patient access to screening and treatment, clinical trial participation, health equity, Medicare and insurance coverage issues, tobacco control, and federal advocacy to increase lung cancer research and improve care.
Primarily supported by individual gifts, grants, event participation, workplace giving, and fundraisers.
Founded by patients and survivors; works with lung cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, researchers, clinicians, and advocacy partners. Publicly noted contact and leadership information includes its communications and support teams.
