The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (Udenrigsministeriet) is the national government department responsible for Denmark's foreign policy, international relations, development cooperation, consular services and representation in multilateral organizations. Its mission is to promote Denmark's interests abroad, advance international peace and security, protect human rights, support sustainable development and facilitate trade and consular assistance for Danish citizens.
Funded through annual state budget appropriations allocated by the Danish Parliament (Folketing).
