About the Organization

The Grand Canyon Wolf Recovery Project is a Flagstaff, Arizona–based conservation organization dedicated to restoring Mexican gray wolves to the Grand Canyon region to promote ecological health and biodiversity. Founded in 2005 and established as an independent nonprofit in 2014, the organization conducts education, grassroots organizing, and advocacy to support wolf recovery and long-term coexistence.

Policy Goals

Wildlife conservation and endangered species protection policies, particularly those related to Mexican gray wolf recovery, habitat restoration, federal and state land management practices, and public engagement in wildlife decision-making.
