GreenLatinos is a national nonprofit that organizes and elevates Latino/a/e leaders and communities to advance environmental conservation, climate justice, clean air and water, sustainable communities, and equitable access to public lands and natural resources.
Advocates for environmental justice and climate policy, clean air and methane rules, water and ocean equity, public lands protection, urban greening and community forestry, transportation and energy equity, and funding and capacity-building for Latino-led environmental efforts.
Primarily philanthropic foundation grants, individual donations, membership support, and program-specific grants (notably has received grants from philanthropic funds such as the Bezos Earth Fund for urban greening initiatives).
Bezos Earth Fund, Wildlife Habitat Council, Regional Air Quality Council, Eco-Cycle, Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives (GAIA), and a network of local Latino-serving environmental and conservation organizations through GreenLatinos programs and coalitions.
