The Haitian American Lawyers Association of New York (HALANY) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional organization dedicated to promoting and encouraging participation by Haitian Americans and other ethnic minorities in the judicial and legal system. The organization supports the professional development of its members, advances diversity within the legal profession, provides scholarships and mentorship to law students, and engages in community outreach and advocacy on issues affecting the Haitian diaspora.
