HEAL (Health, Environment, Agriculture, Labor) Food Alliance is a national, multi-sector coalition focused on transforming food and farm systems so they are healthier, fairer, and more affordable, while protecting workers, communities, and the environment.
Food and farm policy, farm bill advocacy, food worker protections, racial equity in food systems, climate and environmental sustainability, anti-consolidation and corporate accountability, SNAP and food access, support for BIPOC-led and community-controlled food systems
Primarily supported by philanthropic grants, individual donations, and member-driven fundraising/regranting efforts
Founding and anchor organizations include Food Chain Workers Alliance, National Black Food and Justice Alliance, Real Food Generation, and the Union of Concerned Scientists
