Description: Health Care for All – Washington (HCFA‑WA) is a long‑standing grassroots advocacy organization that works to achieve equitable, high‑quality, sustainable, affordable, publicly financed health care for all Washington residents through legislative advocacy, public education, coalition building and community organizing. Type: Non‑profit civic advocacy organization (organized as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization) Policies: State‑level universal/publicly financed health care and single‑payer or state‑based universal proposals, Medicaid access and reimbursement reforms, primary care and behavioral health access, hospital price transparency, revenue and budget measures to protect safety‑net programs, and related affordability and equity policies. Funding: Primarily grassroots funding from individual donations and membership, supplemented by small grants, event contributions and coalition partner support; operates as an advocacy (non‑tax‑deductible) organization.
