Ibis Reproductive Health is an independent, nonprofit organization that conducts research, develops clinical and programmatic tools, and advocates to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights globally, with a focus on evidence-based policies and equitable access to contraception, abortion care, and related services.
Evidence-based sexual and reproductive health and rights policies including expanded access to contraception and safe abortion care, removal of legal and regulatory barriers to reproductive services, contraceptive research and introduction, maternal health and postpartum care, and policies promoting gender equity and health system strengthening.
Primarily supported by philanthropic foundations, government and multilateral research grants, philanthropic donors, and contract research funding.
Works in partnership with global health agencies and research organizations (for example WHO and UN agencies), reproductive health research groups (such as Guttmacher Institute and Population Council), and academic and clinical institutions that collaborate on research and policy projects.
