The Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) is a Maine-based nonprofit organization founded in 1993 that advances justice for immigrants through free and low-cost immigration legal services, community education, and systemic advocacy. As Maine’s only statewide immigration legal services provider, ILAP assists low-income immigrants and asylum seekers with legal representation, consultations, and outreach to promote safety, family unity, and equitable treatment under the law.
